River Outlook
An architectural design project
"Boulder Creek is an expansive river that flows through the city of Boulder Colorado. “River Outlook” is a project that attempts to provide a public space that expands over the creek, with a secondary story accessible by a bridge that overlooks the creek."

From this viewpoint, guests can see the many species of birds and small mammals that utilize the creek year-round. Construction materials would reflect the natural spirit of the creek bed, using mostly wood planks and solid wood framing. Each side of the outlook also takes into consideration the man-made structures that surround the area, and attempt to limit these views to preserve a childlike awe of the creek.
