Composed of double-ply museum board, the model draws on topography lines, road maps, and flood planes of historical areas. The model was originally drawn in 2-D and later transferred into a 3-D model that pulls each aspect into tangible space. Photographed in front of a dark background, Finding Boulder serves as a striking visual representation of how boulder has been shaped throughout history.
